Customer Feedback
"I wanted to let you know that my family gave my Father his Medals' Display this past Saturday. It was very special for my Mother, Brother, and Sister and all our families. After he unwrapped it, he at first sat quietly as I explained each part of the display so my family could understand. Then he joined in telling them about each part of his tour in the Navy. This made Saturday one of the most special days in our family's history. I appreciate your help in making the display perfect. I was impressed with the quality of your workmanship. Daddy had us hang it in the den where he spends most of his time these days. He has several visitors each week, and he told me that he would have something to talk about for the next few weeks. The beauty of your workmanship brought much happiness to our family."

"I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that the display of decorations I asked you to prepare was safely received. My father-in-law will be greatly moved by what you and your staff has so professional accomplished when he is presented with it. It will also be a source of pride for all members of the family for generations to come I am quite sure."

Site Security
Your personal information is definitely secure, period. We employ the latest encryption technology in all areas of the site where you are asked to provide personal or sensitive information. To make sure you have the latest security features on your Browser, download and install the latest version of your favorite Browser, Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator.
Cookies
Our site makes use of "Cookies" to keep track of you and your order while you browse our site. "Cookies" are in no way harmful to your computer system - this is simply the most effective way to provide quality service to our customers. However, the use of Cookies is not mandatory - If you have Cookies disabled, our site will invoke a "backup" method of tracking your Shopping Cart. This method, while safe and secure, is not as fast ... you may experience slower response times than if you had Cookies enabled.

A Cookie is text which we're asking permission to store in your Browser's directory. If you agree by configuring your Browser to accept Cookies, then your Browser stores the text in a file on your hard drive. On most Browsers, the default settings enable you to accept Cookies, so if you haven't changed your defaults, you most likely don't have to do anything to ensure that your Browser accepts Cookies. The Cookie we ask your Browser to store contains an ID number to track your Shopping Cart contents. It does not store any personal information such as your e-mail address, street address or phone number. And, when you do send personal information to us, it goes nowhere else - we do not sell lists or customer data to outside sources.

We use the Cookie to keep track of the items in your Shopping Cart. This is a common practice on the Web ... almost every site which offers online ordering uses Cookies. One important thing to remember - every Web site's Cookies are unique, which means that the Cookie we send your Browser cannot be read or used by any other site.

If you have Cookies disabled, our site will invoke a "backup" method of tracking your Shopping Cart. This method, while safe and secure, is not as fast ... you may experience slower response times than if you had Cookies enabled.

Do you have to accept all cookies?
The answer is "No". Depending on the Browser you're using, here are the general procedures to change your settings: If you're using Netscape 3.x choose Options and then Network Preferences on the Menu bar. In the window which opens, select the Protocols tab; place a check mark in the box next to "Show an Alert before ... Accepting a Cookie". This will give you the option of accepting or declining a specific Cookie when one is sent to your Browser. If you're using Netscape 4.x choose Edit and then Preferences on your top navigation bar. Once in Preferences, click on Advanced located on the tree. This will give you four options to regulate Cookies. If you're using MSIE 3.x choose View and then Options on your top navigation bar. Once in Options, click on the Advanced tab and you will be given the option to check the box titled "Warn before accepting Cookies". If you're using MSIE 4.x choose View and then Internet Options on your top navigation bar. Once in Internet Options, click on the Advanced tab and scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under Security. There you will be given three different options to regulate Cookies.
Problems & Trouble Shooting
I ORDER A PRODUCT, BUT WHEN I REVIEW MY CART, IT'S NOT THERE. WHAT'S WRONG?

Do you have your Browser set to refuse Cookies? That could be why your Shopping Cart is reporting that it's empty. We use Cookies to keep track of the items in your Shopping Cart. If you have Cookies turned off, the Shopping Cart can't function properly. If this is the case, you will need to set your Browser to accept Cookies.

I HAVE MY BROWSER SET TO ACCEPT COOKIES BUT STILL CAN'T PLACE AN ORDER. WHAT'S WRONG?

If you have your Browser set to accept Cookies but still can't add items to your Shopping Cart, you probably are having a problem with the cache. When you try to add something to your Shopping Cart, your request was received, but the screen that appeared is from your cached memory. This problem can be solved by clicking on the "Refresh" or "Reload" button on the top navigation bar of your Browser.

HOW DO I REVIEW WHAT'S IN MY SHOPPING CART?

At the top of each Shopping page there is a "REVIEW" button ... click on it to see a list of the products you have placed in your Shopping Cart. You'll see a Merchandise Subtotal, the Shipping Charges, and the Grand Total.
You can change the quantity of any product in your cart by changing the number in the "Quantity" column and clicking on "RECALCULATE".
You can "put back" a product by changing the quantity to 0 (zero) and clicking on "RECALCULATE".
Keep shopping by clicking on the "RETURN TO BROWSING" button.
When you're finished browsing, click on the "CHECKOUT/ALL DONE" button.
Unit Crests
As you might guess, due to the great numbers of these unit crests, it would be impossible for us to stock them. However, if you have yours, we would be happy to mount them in your display case for you.
Unit Patches
Due to the thousands of different units that were in the system, we are restricted to a few of the more popular unit patches. If you have your originals, you may send them to us and we will happily mount them in your awards display case.

Display Cases
HOW DO I ORDER A DISPLAY CASE?

  • Select the size and background color that best suits your display. Don't crowd your medals; plan on enough margin. Our best rule of thumb is go up one size from what you think you will need.. If in doubt, call us.
  • Identify your selection by case number and background color.
  • If you want us to mount your awards, add the mounting fee listed by case. Please don't hesitate to call us if you have questions.

Additional mounting fees may be required for complex designs and research. Call Customer Service for details.
  • Brass Plates & Engraving
All cases should have a brass plate that at least identifies the owner of the contents. Most people put their name and rank on the first line, their unit or ship on the second line and their dates of service on the third line. Plates that accommodate 4, 5 and 6 and up to 15 lines are available for those wanting to include more information. Minimize the use of abbreviations and when using abbreviations, use standard or self-explanatory abbreviations. Remember many of those outside the military community that will view your case will not know what the abbreviations mean and the significance of your service may not be properly represented to them.
    Dog Tags
Our dog tags are made the same way the Military currently makes them . A Normal layout is:

    Last Name
    First name, middle initial
    Serial number or SSN
Blood type or brance of service
    Religion or "No Preference"

    Commemorative Medals
Commemorative medals have been in existence since the Civil War. They have been used to commemorate military service during a specific event or during a certain period. They are an excellent way to honor a veteran's service in addition to the government medals the veteran may have already received.

Commemorative medals are not authorized by the government and as such should not be worn on the military uniform. Commemorative medals may be the item you need to clarify your service or to honor the service of another veteran. If a veteran meets the criteria for these commemorative medals, it is entirely appropriate and suggested that these medals be used to honor a veteran's service during a particular period or during a particular event.

Commemorative medals and ribbons can be displayed in an awards display case.

Commemorative medals may be purchased by anyone but cannot be worn on the active duty uniform. However, many veterans wear these medals and ribbons with their other medals and ribbons for parades and other such events.
    Medals
DO YOU MOUNT MILITARY FULL-SIZE AND MINIATURE MEDALS FOR WEAR?

Yes , we will mount your medals for you. We mount all medals in accordance with current military regulations to insure that your medals are mounted in the designated service precedence.

WILL THE GOVERNMENT REPLACE MY MEDALS?

    Yes. You may write to:
    National Personnel Records Center
    9700 Page Blvd
    St Louis, MO 63132

Provide the service member's name, branch of service, dates of service and service number if known. The form requires verification (signature) of the veteran (or if deceased, the immediate next of kin). This process may take a year or longer depending on your branch of service. While the government may replace your U.S. medals, they will not replace any foreign medals. Please call us if you would like to get your medals from us instead of waiting a lengthy period of time. All of our medals are the same as what the government will send you. They are made by the same government designated supplier and are made according to military specifications.
